Tanira Farms

A Celestial Dialogue Between Architecture and Nature

Hidden within the lush mango orchards on the outskirts of Bengaluru, Tanira Farms emerges as an immersive architectural retreat where landscape, light, and form are woven into a singular experiential narrative. Conceived as a luxury farm stay rooted in stillness and sensory connection, the project transcends conventional hospitality design, offering instead a poetic relationship between architecture and nature.

At the heart of the estate lies a sculptural mango shaped pool that anchors the masterplan both visually and experientially. Framed by dense foliage, ambient lighting, and a private poolside bar, the water body becomes the social core of the retreat while echoing the identity of the orchard landscape it inhabits. Curved pathways and organically planned open spaces guide movement through the site, revealing carefully framed views of gardens, lawns, and flowering trees.

The architecture is defined by two signature dome shaped villas, Moonrise and Starglow, positioned thoughtfully beside the pool to balance intimacy with openness. Their soft curvilinear forms emerge seamlessly from the landscape, creating an architectural language that feels fluid, organic, and quietly futuristic. Large glazed openings dissolve the threshold between interior and exterior, allowing natural light and greenery to become part of the living experience.

Moonrise embraces a vibrant and expressive interior palette, featuring tropical wall art, a striking scarlet red sofa bed, and expansive floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pool and orchards. In contrast, Starglow offers a softer and more contemplative atmosphere, where muted tones and restrained detailing create a sense of calm beneath the night sky.

A defining feature of both villas is their luxurious skylit bathrooms and open to sky bathing experiences, reinforcing the project’s celestial connection to nature. Semi open patios with pitched roofs further extend the living spaces outdoors, functioning as versatile gathering zones for dining, leisure, games, or open air movie nights.

More than a destination, Tanira Farms is an architectural experience shaped by atmosphere and emotion, where every space invites a slower, more immersive way of inhabiting the landscape.
