Situated in the heart of Bangalore’s bustling Commercial Street, this project was an ambitious transformation—revamping an existing commercial building into an elegant and opulent dining destination for Bharathiya Jalpaan, one of India’s most celebrated snacks and sweets brands. Our goal was to create an interior experience that mirrors the rich heritage, indulgence, and sophistication of Indian sweets and savory dishes, while ensuring seamless functionality for both service and customers.

Design Philosophy: The Essence of Indian Indulgence
The interior palette was carefully curated to evoke a sense of grandeur, reminiscent of the luxurious ethos associated with India’s traditional mithaiwalas and gourmet snack houses. Rich textures, intricate patterns, and a warm, inviting color scheme bring forth a setting that celebrates Indian culinary craftsmanship. We combined opulent gold accents, deep wooden tones, and traditional motifs with modern elegance, striking a perfect balance between nostalgia and contemporary sophistication.

A double-height wall featuring intricate mirror work, brass finfish inlays, and ambient lighting creates an immediate visual impact, drawing customers into a space that feels as grand as the flavors it offers.
